In Uganda, you’ll find opportunities across various fields, each one having the power to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in a country that has faced challenges for decades. With half of the population under 18, and many living on the streets, your help can truly change lives. Our volunteer projects are mainly based in Kampala and include work in our orphanage, planting trees, hospitals, and schools.

Uganda, located in East Africa, shares its borders with the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya, and Rwanda. The country features a plateau that’s 4,000 feet above sea level, with Lake Victoria covering much of the south. While predominantly Christian, Uganda is rich in cultural diversity and languages.

We kindly ask for a registration fee of $250, which covers various benefits such as maintaining our informative website, providing 3 T-shirts and caps, a recommendation letter, a Certificate of completion/appreciation, FAF alumni membership, advertising costs, general support until the end of the project, on-site project supervision, and quality control.
The program fee, in addition to the registration fee, should be paid to our international bank account at least 30 days before the start of the project.
Please be aware that depending on your chosen payment method, there may be additional transaction fees for which you would be responsible.
If you’d like to extend your stay beyond 3 months, just add $70 per week for each additional week. Or, if you prefer, feel free to get in touch with us, and we’ll be more than happy to send you a complete package!
